In April of 2006, Cordia Partners was spun off and purchased by founding partners Mitch Weintraub, Mark Melton and Joseph Greeves from a large regional accounting and consulting firm based in Washington, DC. As part of this transition, Cordia Partners retained the majority of its staff and client base to provide a solid foundation as a newly independent company. Led by Mitchell Weintraub and Mark Melton, both former partners and practice leaders within the regional accounting firm, Cordia Partners has provided outsourced accounting and business advisory services to Washington-area companies since 1999. As an independent company, Cordia Partners continues to focus on outsourced accounting services, staff augmentation, and business consulting services.
Cordia Partners has more than doubled in size and revenue since 2006 and employs just over 25 full-time professionals. Of these professionals, many have experience in both public and private industry accounting. Our managers have hands-on experience in managing finance and accounting operations, and are well trained in operational accounting methods and industry best practices.
